I am planning to open a new Services mobile window tint online business in . Los Angeles California. What are the requirements for mobile window tint legal registration?

As of 3/1/2024 12:00 AM in Los Angeles, mobile window tint companies need to be recorded within the jurisdiction in which they operate because all business or activity income from profit is taxable and consequently the business must be registered. Filing a DBA is not required if you will set up an LLC or form a Corporation. Partnerships will need to obtain a federal tax id number. There is a cicrcumstance that you may not need to register a trade name and that is when you use your full name as a business name if you use your full legal name as a trade name. Also note that even using your first and last name may not help you avoid filing a DBA if the name has a suffix such as "& associates" etc.
  • FIRST STEP: Ensure that you secure mobile window tint related tools such as specific equipment .
